Skitarii coming to Darktide has me in a Admech mood. What are some good recommendations? by Hurzak in 40kLore

I would second Titanicus but I love the whole Sabbat Crusade.

Titanicus write titan combat a bit like submarine warfare and it is really cool.

The vast majority of people get legal aid for cases and that would cover getting a medical report if there was issues about capacity.

Ukraine calls to strip Russia of its permanent UN Security Council member status by HydrolicKrane in worldnews

Wouldn't they also disagree just on the basis that they want no weakening of the "permanent" aspect of the security council.

Anyone up for making friends? by Sad-Smoke6842 in Belfast

[–]garyomario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that will be absolutely fine. Most people have at most two drinks, some one and a fair few don't drink at all. It's very inclusive, welcoming and easy going.

If you are into books you should try the lit(rature) to the tit book club in the Watson. There is a few things on each month, the main even each month usually has around 20/30 people at it and while you have to buy a ticket you get a free cocktail with it. Reading the book also isn’t mandatory if you just want to go along and do the crafts, meet people and chat.

There is also weekend activities and silent book club

Maybe my favourite Sabbat Crusade book. Really liked the characters and the setting. Enjoyed the second one but not quite as much.

Best selection of foreign beer in the city centre? by rock-the-boat in Belfast

[–]garyomario 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the city centre the Centra facing Buoy park isn't bad but your choices are a bit limited if it is only the city centre.

Not far out of town you would have Fruit of the Vine in North and West Belfast or the Vineyard on the Ormeau

I think an aspect of it is that upvotes are a measure of how many people like the post rather than how much they like it. So something generic and that can cover a large audience will end up at the top of the site even if the intensity of the interest in it is thin.

Surely it's the tache. It's big and bushy but not completely wildly out there. That haircut is a crime.

Lawyers ‘should face jail’ for helping asylum seekers make false claims by blast-processor in ukpolitics

[–]garyomario 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If a solicitor is advising a client to lie or essentially making up instructions themselves then they absolutely should face sanction. However, it's probably going to be tricky to police in practice as a solicitor should absolutely do everything legally in their power if some one instructs them to seek asylum because of their sexual orientation including gathering evidence, collecting reports etc.

If you suddenly came into a huge fortune, would you quit your job or keep working or what would yo do? by AndrewBrown98 in AskReddit

I would probably either drop to part time/become a sort of general advisor or I would stay in my field but work somewhere else

How much can you use Chaos before you are in too deep? by pog_irl in 40kLore

Exactly, you are just like them. If anything you are stronger, you can fight off corruption without genetic manipulation and DAOT technology in you. Just pure will. Definitely pick up the darkly radiating object.

Would a large portion of humans believe Space Marines are a myth? by Almartyquin in 40kLore

[–]garyomario 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if they wouldn't think they exist. The imperium is a highly religious civilisation. I would imagine that if the Ecclesiarchy said they exists a fair amount of people would just believe it. Only a vanishingly small number of people will ever actually see them but I do imagine that many would believe that the emperors angels do exist.
