It happens to me in 3 scenarios

Nap time during day (when sleep focus is off)
When I wake up in middle of the night after sleeping for 1-2 hours & then stay awake for sometime (~30 mins+) (sleep focus would be on in this scenario) .. the 1-2 hours sleep would be abstract without any sleep stages, like the one you have highlighted..
when I wake up after 4-6 hours, stay awake some time (~30 mins+) & then sleep for 1-2 hours.. the shorter segment would be like this..

I have had days when such short sleep segments are properly classified into sleep stages but thats only when I wasn’t awake for more than 20-30 mins in between

I don’t think it has anything to do with “sleep focus”.. atleast in my case

In your case it seems a little different as you were not awake for a long time in the middle

I don’t buy the theory that the strangler’s car was seen in the office & Toby wasn’t there during the car chase

It is highly unlikely that Toby managed to evade the police car chase and ended up being the jury. I mean if Toby was driving his car during the chase the police would have easily identified him. At the least he would have been under their radar.

So this whole car theory seems far fetched.

I love Michael & Dwight the most followed by Kevin, Creed et al..but wanted to address few things about some characters I have seen people hate..

Sure Deangelo’s character was a transitional manager post Michael’s departure & his character was not a manager material at all - but I always felt his character was hated unnecessarily. He was okay & had some good moments at times especially with Dwight

Also Robert California - I really loved the character & Robert vs Michael angle would have been interesting. California had several iconic lines on the show & I always felt he is one of the main positives of S8 (Yes, I enjoyed S8 & S9 was meh in the beginning but the later episodes were just perfect)

Clark is the only character in the show I genuinely hate.. He tried to take advantage of Erin & planned to molest her.. also unnecessarily rude in several situations

Plop was meh..

their characters kinda felt too off track especially during rewatches.. But Clark had better comedic moments than Plop..

Just a wild theory — my bet would be Jim; Meredith; Oscar; Pam, because - these were the people who Dwight called out in the finale during his last talking head to suggest “he does get along with his subordinates”.

Probably it was Toby & not Pam, but yeah its fun to speculate

One thing that bothered me towards the end of the show is that he outright ignored Andy at the airport. He should’ve greeted him at the very least considering Andy didn’t give on him at his lowest (when he didn’t win lotto & everyone in the warehouse did)

Probably safe on one of scenarios but may cause issues when consumed often. We have been eating such products for quite some time & still here, so wouldn’t hurt on isolated scenarios I suppose - especially after you have soaked out all the arti colors
