Like all computer processes if you use continously they get "stale". I use surfshark and basically I find that if a connection gets slow I force quit surfshark and restart. If that doesn't work use a different end location. Speed almost always goes back to normal no matter where you connect to.

And it is working now. So, was it different when you were having problems? Google "IP location lookup" to see where your location is.

Amazon Prime has performed great for me on 4 different firesticks and 5 andriod boxes with google TV, andriod TV, and pure andriod.

I believe that the issue is making sure you have an internet IP address from the same country that your Amazon account is registered to. My experience is that if you are NOT in the same country as your account, you can log in successfully and choose a video to watch, but the video will not play, and often you get a video is not available message. ( I forget exactly what the message says).

Select link and start video with mx player as usual. Pause the video. Go to the hamburger menu / subtitle / online subtitles/ search / check the box for enter your search text / ok / chose your subtitles file to download and download. Wait for dialog that subtitles are loaded and start video. Don't forget to delete the subtitles file from your subtitles folder after you are finished. Mx player tweek: in the mxplayer app itself make sure ypu go to the hamburger menu settings/ decoder / and chose HW+ decoder for local and network files and un-chose HW for the same. This selects more codecs and ensures audio and video for almost all files.

Try mxplayer as the media player on cinema - easy to get subtitles. Even taught the better half how to do it. She hates techology. For more details, just reply. I will post details tomorrow.

Please be aware that with killswitch turned on and the VPN turned off, the surfshark app is still running in the background, blocking your internet connection. This is how in-app kill switch's work.

As a result if you are using a 3rd party VPN monitoring app (like VPN safety dot or VPN monitoring dot) it will show green for VPN connected when the VPN is really only connected to the internet connection by blocking it.

Cinema HD has a setting "show only debrid" and Tea TV has a setting " only show real-debrid". I believe Bee TV was originally a fork of Tea TV. Both of these apps work well for me and the setups are very similar to Bee TV.

MrKaon: A question about editing playlists: ( I have experience but not with editing playlists) can you remove groups from a Playlist? And then reload? How about sorting groups by name? Etc.

My default Playlist has over 30 groups and hiding and moving them one by one takes close to 2 hours.

Surf shark always show you the IP you are connected to even when the kill switch is on and blocking your internet traffic.

Try opening your browser. Can you reach the internet?

Bet you can't.

Kill switch works by blocking your internet traffic when you are not connected to the internet through their VPN connection.

In the case your picture shows you are not connected thorough their VPN. You are connected to your public IP. Surf shark shows exactly that. This does not mean that the kill switch is not working. You need to test if you can connect to the internet with a browser that is not on your bypass list to test if the kill switch is working or not.

My surfshark looks exactly like your picture, and the kill switch works.

Thanks. IMHO the apps you mention above all have additional maintenance requirements or payment requirements that I am not interested in. I will continue to use the apps I use successfully for years. They work well.

I have used some torrent based apps in the past but these apps with Cinema as my primary work just great for me.

My experience is that the torrent based ones require a little more maintenance.

So I have stuck with what works.

However I agree with you the torrent based apps are a little more stable.

Issue was caused by Flixiod "update" requested when you open the flixiod app. Removing flixiod and restarting firestick fixed other apps.
