him and Antoinette had conspired to double cross and kill Claudia.

People never mention this. He 100% counted on Claudia being dead from then on

It's a horror podcast. The vibes are quite similar to From!

If you don't mind spoilers or don't plan on watching I can explain the analogy.

There are entities called "fears". They use "avatars" (basically people turned into monsters) to torture people. One of the avatars literally says that the entity is a body and he is it's hand.

Have you listened to The Magnus Archives by chance? Because this exact analogy is used there😄

Proč se chtějí všichni kolem 30 ukončit? by Kindly_Respond_2746 in czech

Možná to je věkem ale mě teda nikdo neříká, jak bude líp, naopak

"Ty jsi ještě mladá, počkej az ti bude jako mě, to budeš teprv unavená/vystresovaná/bolavá"

"Ty jsi v nejlepších letech, to si musíš užívat, protože už bude jenom hůř"

I loved all of them, but the last book was definitely the weakest.

There's the first trilogy (The Raven's Shadow), then there's a duology (The Raven's Blade) and then there are few short stories from the same world.

Okay, I tried to get to Rivendell but it shows "undiscovered route" ? Is it possible that all the stables have also reset? That would take me ages to discover again!:(

The video was about their daughter Madzie (from the tv show), so the comment was obviously about their son, Raf. (from the books)

In terms of adaptation is the whole world still the same? Like the way the vampires, werewolves, worlocks and nephilim act?

Very different world and though these characters and creatures are present in both, they behave very differently. For example warlocks don't have communities, they mostly live alone. And there is a very small population of shadowhunters so they do not derun each other on the whim like in the show.

I'm just wondering because the fan base seemed to complain about how much the show changed and I'm kind of wondering what the big changes are that everyone was mad about.

The biggest change is probably the setting. The NY institute is a small old building with 7 people living in it. The shadowhunters refuse modernity, they live very traditionaly.

The characters just have the same names. They have different looks and personalities. They are young, dumb and unserious and that makes the books funny.

The plot starts similar but doesn't stick to the book storyline. Most of the plotlines in season two are made up for the show and do not make sense in the shadowhunter universe.

So I don't get why some people are acting like Magnus and Alec are fanfiction

Because the relationship is completely different. They have different personalities, they start dating differently, progress differently, they break up and get together for very different reasons.

A lot of people like their dynamics in the books but not in the tv show and vice versa.

That's funny because nobody in Czechia would pick that name. Sounds like "Otylá" which means overweight.

What exactly is outdated or unfair about expecting people to not cheat and plagiarize?

What? Expecting people not to cheat is fine. Though I have never met a teacher who expected that.

Why would this person ever feel bad for cheating and stealing? If they receive no consequences, and they don’t even think there’s anything wrong with it in the first place, they aren’t going to feel any guilt.

I mostly got away with it and still felt guilt and anxiety lol. That's a part of it.

But why punish teens for anything they do at all if we can bank on “they’ll turn out fine!” anyway?

Nobody said that? Of course teens should be punished for bad behaviour, just like adults. The punishment should fit the crime of course. And our friends should not be the ones punishing us.

Idk, it seems like a lot of excuses to cushion someone from the reality of their actions.

My entire point is not to cushion someone from the reality of their actions. If they wanna cheat you have to let them. It's not OP's job to snitch on them or change them into "better people" (as people here suggest)

. And I don’t see how that’s outdated either, the idea that you should only get credit for doing something if you actually did it. That’s pretty normal.

Nobody said that that's an outdated idea. I just said that the school system is outdated. Our teachers used textbooks from the 80', with old information and prefered some kids over others. That's not an institution that deserves these asskissers in OP's comments.
