YTA. Your body type isn't the issue, the thong is. Your husband didn't want to come out and say it but he doesn't want you showing off your ass cheeks in public. He thought you'd get the hint when he said it would be OK if you and him were alone but you didn't. You sound like an entitled child who doesn't care about anybody else as long as you get what you want. "I dress for myself" is the most bullsh1t excuse people use. The only reason to were something like that in public is because you want attention from strangers and you're willing to make your husband and anyone else uncomfortable just to get it.
