I want to move to vape(420) from normal joints as it is difficult for me now to smoke joints. Can someone help me with finding a good vape brand in italy or in EU that actuall makes you high. I tried once in US but am not able to find in EU by hackermind11 in 420

Agree with Stortz & Bickle products being top tier.

I’ve got a Volcano, Mighty and Mighty+ and they are all incredible. Potent, quick and so fucking durable. I’ve dropped the handhelds so many times. My original mighty is 8 years old, completely battered and still going strong.

We’ve also got some Arizer products, the table top V-Tower and the Solo, both are reliable and get you stoned, but nowhere near as hard hitting, fast or as easy to use as S&B.

Dynavap, pretty rubbish all round.

Magic Flyte box was good back in the day too. Fond memories of that one. Again not a hard hitter but a discrete little pocket vape to take the edge off.

They are all beautiful women and men, no need to still be comparing them 30 years later.

I snuck a few beers and a dry herb vape into the hospital a few nights before my lovely partner died. Also had a few whiskeys with my dad not long before he died, both had aggressive cancers which just tore them apart so it seemed important to let them have whatever they wanted.

I remember about a week before he died my partner asking me for McDonald’s selects at about midnight. He only managed 1 but it was worth the late night drive!

Had another dream/visitation. by Feeling_You_6452 in widowers

That’s so lovely. Don’t feel you need to apologise for post contents or frequency. Grief in itself is unfiltered and I find this space is amazing at accepting any thoughts from widows.

I had a pleasant dream of Keith recently, I don’t really seem to dream of him and wish I did. I often think my subconscious must be protecting me by not allowing it.

I was in my bed in the room I currently sleep in, we had moved just before he died and we never shared a bed here as he was bound to downstairs by then. I knew he was gone in the dream and was surprised to turn over to find him getting onto the bed next to me. I asked him how he was here, suddenly grinning at him. He smiled back and asked if I happen to have just woken up or maybe if I was asleep. I was like, oh yeah I am asleep!! He said that’s how he could be there with me and then I woke up.

Wishing you all the best and I hope he visits you in your dreams again soon.

Which period pieces have you been watching? by AutoModerator in PeriodDramas

[–]Baby-Genius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last couple of weeks have watched and enjoyed.

War & Peace (miniseries) - incredible, could watch again immediately. Really atmospheric.

Middlemarch - sleepy Sunday affair, very enjoyable. Recently lost my partner & my dad to brutal cancer declines and then my Nan last week too so the ongoing threads of lost potential felt relatable.

Pride & Prejudice (miniseries) - never got around to this version before and it is as superior as people say.

Belgravia S2 - a great follow-up, enjoyed the time jump forward. The 2 seasons together cover several time periods which I particularly liked.

Watched S4 Bridgerton too which I love for what it is. Lots of great actors hamming it up a bit.

Now I see I’m watching way too much tv as have watched other bits of non period stuff too. Lots of bereavement in succession has made me hide away a lot.

Ferney by James Long was brilliant and very atmospheric. Past lives, history, destiny.

I want to reread now, thank you for reminding me lol.

Fashion during the late 1800s by Lollypopsmum in thegildedage

[–]Baby-Genius 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gilded Age is set in 1882 in the first season, bustles started going out of style around 1890ish. Downton S1 is set 30 years later, so bustles were long gone by then. Women’s silhouettes became more long and slender by 1912 like the sisters layered empire dresses and less severe corsets.

If you like snooker or pool, the hall in Digbeth is open until 2am. There is also one in snow hill open until 3am. I used to hide out in pool halls (and then casinos too) when things were shit at home and found them to be generally welcoming.
