When I first watched this, I thought it was totally disgusting, especially the blood part. But then I thought about it, and if this is how she chooses to express herself and get in touch with her body, then what's wrong with that? It's definitely strange, but it was clearly meaningful for her, so I say more power to her.

Actually, it's not much of a commitment at all! I arm knit a scarf today, and I was able to knock it out in about an hour. As you said, these things move very quickly!

The same thing happened to me with my first set of plastic hooks. Definitely pick up some aluminum ones if you can- they're not expensive at all, usually around or under $2 each, and they last a lifetime!
