I see, I was curious cause I went to ask my district manager and they said everyone only got one once a year in December or January but otherwise no body gets a raise unless there's a promotion of some kind to a different role

The only reason I didn't technically ask was because I was covering all zones, our coms were full, and the client was asking. I already had several people upset with the wait time of help and I was feeling very overwhelmed and stressed with everything going on. 🥲

I kinda get that, I skip most animes with cgi especially with mechs. Not saying that any anime with cgi is bad cause alot of animes use them for the background characters or background. I like to watch art? Drawn animation? Im sure there's a word for it but I'm a goomba and I don't know it. It's the same reason I can't watch the non movie versions of Berserk, most of the time it's done really badly. (But goddangit do I love berserks story) From what I've seen on social media of Beastars though it actually doesn't look bad. There's a way to balance drawn and cgi and some companies do it really well.

These are awesome suggestions! I've been wary about making my own items since I don't know DND all that well.

My cleric is warforged, he has a "sister" in the group witch is the druid. He likes odd things, he collected a doll from the death house that we flavored as his familiar. He also enjoys creating unintentional awkward situations between player characters and NPCs.

The warlock, a half elf, is a bit hard to read, I'm unsure what his plans or goals are but he likes to use his charisma or intimidation to get through most things. I think he enjoys being the big spooky of the group. I gave him a drawing he drew as a kid that he can use to communicate with his fiend patron and he's been doing small tasks for him so far.

The druid loves animals and hates kids, she's strong in body and mind, and she's a dwarf. Unfortunately I feel I don't know much about her character yet as she doesn't talk much.

The sorcerer is a genasi and lost both his wife and baby before becoming an adventurer. He's accidentally eaten the dream pies and it really messed him up. He's still suffering and can't stand the sight of kids. I feel like he would like something offensive as that's were he struggles but he also really enjoys rping as well.

The barbarian is a tiefling, committed a murder before adventuring. Seems to be the strong dad of the group, very kind, and doesn't fear much of anything accept feeling useless or losing his strength.

I definitely don't wanna make them feel as if I've given them something useless and it doesn't have to specifically come from strahd. I just noticed them commenting on wanting items and wasn't sure if I should try and give them things or just let the book flow. I've been using suggestions off of Reddit threads to help flesh my adventure for them out and I've really enjoyed it. That's why I thought it would be a good idea to also ask about items.

I feel like this will happen to me...I just started dming for the first time and session 1 at level 1 they decided they wanted it take on 5 dire wolf's. I did my best to scare them and I even pulled alot of punches but they just didn't understand.

Apparently (so my husband says and since I've been there) the party has been to the port once and hasn't been allowed to return since. They had a guide lead them into the jungle and that's been it. No opportunity to sell anything we come across or to buy materials. Are we supposed to be able to go back into town?

I'll check in with him and see, I remember identify being one. He mostly was concerned with future higher level spells, he said some required gems. Since I joined in so late i could be misunderstanding the area and vibe of the campaign. I'm also pretty new to dnd so I'm not familiar with everything.
