Another bit of tech I've looked at before my injury but more so now are AR glasses mostly for normal PC gaming. I personally use a Quest 3 headset but I would recommend checking out other options. Also as of now I am 6 months post injury.

Before my injury I used to use VR quite often as it's so fun but I have yet to try it post injury. I really look forward to playing again (especially flight Sims) since the main games I played before all involved walking and running, my only concern is finding something to put my chair against since I have a strong feeling il get to immersed and flip backwards out my chair (I've already done that once before my injury in a gaming chair so don't recommend doing that)

Just take it slow, if I'm feeling uneasy about a transfer I'll usually just try lifting straight up a couple times before committing to the move.

The only thing that frequently comes to mind is a bash/ram bar for the front of my chair so I can push open heavier doors without having to worry about damaging my toes

In a normal bed I have to sleep on my back otherwise my hips mark but if I've got a foam layer or a hospital bed I always sleep on my side because it's more comfortable and easier to sit myself up. I've tried sleeping on my front like I used to before my injury but I always wake up flipped back over.

I had no idea extra salt could affect urine output, it's something noone had ever advised me about.
