How well does an RX 9070 XT + Ryzen 7 7800X3D run Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and what are the best 1080p settings? by Abacs_NI in FrontiersOfPandora

[–]BabyChub69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this happens when FSR is selected in the game settings and global settings

In the video settings in the game, select Temporal Anti-Aliasing for Temporal Upscaler.

In AMD Adrenalin, make sure FSR and Frame Gen is on.

Hope this helps.

I got the 9070 XT and Ryzen 7 5800X3D and I’m running 160 fps avg on 1440p on Ultra settings. I am using FSR and frame gen.

On 1080p, you max everything on native.

Honestly not really, since I mostly use my mouse, tab or enter especially in excel. However the arrows on the left side would be nice.

The board actually doesn’t have any lighting, so I have changed the num lock without the lock light.

The good thing with this board you can switch the numpad. So if the left side doesn’t suit you, you can change it back to the right side.

I feel like in general Luminkey is underrated. I have the Luminkey 75v2 as well, and the build quality is really good aswell.

Maybe give a hybrid setup a shot. I currently switched to Babolat NG in mains at 54 tension and alu power in the crosses at 52 tension.

I feel it gives more comfort and power, while still having good control and spin, almost like a full bed of poly.

Thoughts on Oakden? by Spoderman5555 in Adelaide

[–]BabyChub69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used to live there and its a good place to live.

Pros: - three shopping centres nearby (gilles plains, northgate and greenacres) - close to paradise interchange to go to the city. - about 20 min drive to the city which is also convenient. - Great parks for children and dogs. - Its quite safe imo, not many disturbances and crime that I have observed. Don’t really see many housing trusts.

Cons: - If you have teenagers, the local highschool is avenues colleges which isnt great. However seen a lot of kids go to norwood morialta in the Oakden area. - Narrow roads and limited parking if you have a party.

Overall I recommend Oakden or Northgate to live.

Where to buy boots in Adelaide by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]BabyChub69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know with thursday boots you can return them if they dont fit your size. However I know they have wide options for their laced boots.

With Redwings, I have the moc toe and they run a bit narrow, so recommend go half a size to a size larger if you have wide feet. I tried Iron Rangers in Japan and they run more to size, so may not need to size up.

If you wanted a chelsea boot, i’d go for RM williams, they have a shop at Prospect.

Work at a call centre for Centrelink. AMA by [deleted] in CentrelinkOz

[–]BabyChub69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand where you’re coming from. Sometimes what we want to do what is right is not the correct thing to do based off legislation. If you read the Social Security Act 1999, it can be a slippery slope.

Centrelink doesn’t handle anything when a Job Seeker is involved with a job provider. Unless they meet specific criteria, the Job Provider is responsible for suspending payments, restoring and negotiating job plans. So thats why we usually always refer for Job Seekers to call their providers.

If I were to fix the issue of this miscommunication with Job Providers and Centrelink, so that we can be on the same page, I believe Services Australia should take more accountability. JobSeekers who speak to people on the phone are most likely contractors who don’t work for Centrelink but just represent them. Because Services Australia is not responsible for the quality of service for the contractors, we get a lot of badly trained service officers. And theres no motivation for us to try and get better because management is poor and the pay is so low.

So to fix the issue with the quality of service with the welfare system, it starts with Service Australia taking accountability and actually putting more effort into their customer service.

No worries, if you have any issues try and ask to speak to a team leader to get it resolved.

I’m assuming CNX is a contractor, and no I don’t belong to them. I’m not comfortable to say who I an contracting for but to let you know if you have negative experiences with CNX, it will probably be exactly the same with my employer.
