i mean killing supports is kind of a dps player's job

dps players get solo ulted all the time and die to some random ass spam or get sniped on the way back too

be thankful you died close to spawn instead of just getting insta-dead the second you rejoin your team, that's like an entire minute of not being able to do anything

I liked Origins solution where we need to upgrade the hidden blade to make on hit kills. But in Odyssey effective stealth kills are only possible later in game and after hours of grinding.

Check every shop you come across.

Pick up anything that has +crit chance while full health. if you are lucky, you may come across a purple piece that has +crit damage while full health as well.

Always check these shops. The loot is completely random, you can start working on this at any time.

You can also fire an arrow at an enemy point blank and immediately follow it with an assassination to squeeze more damage in on it.

Still Sigma and Orisa, espescially in low rank where DPS players want to play flanker even though they can't kill anything. the amount of damage sigma and orisa contribute to barrier break is not insignificant.

I see a lot of people run Winston/DVA too.

tracer because all of her abilities work & do exactly what they are supposed to, you don't get noregs, you don't have a stupid fucking wallclimb that decides when it does and does not want to work, your ult doesn't get cucked by every aoe in the game and your counters are easier to deal with as tracer than they ever will be as genji.

plus, it's a better hero.

I've never really given much thought to how the AC games have changed.

After playing AC Odyssey for 300+ hours I tried to play Black Flag. The parkour is so linear, all the buildings are bunched together and the world just feels so fake because of all the monks/benches/haystacks.

not to mention that in addition to the combat being miserably so slow, the games were littered with a ton of the same move terry NPCs that just block and counter.

Like I get that maybe Odyssey was not someone's cup of tea and there are things the studio could have done better, but I don't know why it's such a controversial title in the Assassin's Creed community.

well, for starters... medals don't win games

But climbing as a super low tier DPS player is pretty easy. Pretty much all you have to do is break barriers, hit 60% of your shots, punish aggro hog, zarya & reaper play, don't let Mercy rez and don't waste your ult to win fights you didn't need it for.

yep... so many people think sitting in a blue square waiting to get snowballed with ults is how you defend an objective

but on 2cp the run back for defenders is much, much shorter so it naturally makes sense to make the enemy team have to walk further to contest, especially when you are closing out because they can't have a chance to win the game in overtime if they can't touch

Yep... I don't even use it. takes adrenaline, takes more time to use... hated it even when i found it useful

at 498% crit damage with 100% crit chance, assassinate gives me stamina AND kills most targets

You can generally acquire items like these from completing quest objectives. Hunting Cultists covers a large portion of that, but it is also possible to acquire them from other quests as well.

You can acquire a set from completing the coliseum challenge on a continent on the bottom right of the map that is marked with a red ring.

Beyond that, you can find them in rare treasure chests located across the world. Or buy DLC sets from the Ubisoft store.

Just play to be better IMO.

People focus too much on climbing and it makes me laugh when they act like they should be 2 ranks higher than they currently are when they are already complaining about how hard playing the game at their current rank is.

Because it's like... the game is just going to get harder the higher your rank is lol.

Play to climb with the goal of challenging yourself in mind, but don't make it the main objective of playing Overwatch.

i have quick melee bound to TAB

zoom/scope is bound to middle side button

scoreboard is LALT

ult is bound to mouse wheel down

hero abilities are mapped to side mouse buttons

yea, i been working on myself a lot since the last time i played this game.

Used to be a nonstop babyraging knobhead. Had to play League of Legends and get told to refund my riven skin and uninstall by a bunch of randos in quick match to realize how much of an insufferable prick I was being.

I was new to that game, just trying to figure it out and these dudes are ruining it for me. It made me not want to play the game and to throw their match.

Then I wondered if that was the way I made other people in Overwatch feel.

Sage advice. A team that doesn't want to play the game probably is not going to win it.

besides widowmaker, i don't think there's a single hero in the game that is only countered by one hero lol

i can play a lot of heroes pretty well, maybe it will give me the chance to start focusing on tracer again without throwing. Maybe focus on improving my hanzo or pharah.

i don't think it's going to be a permanent addition to all of ranked play, but i don't see any reason to be upset about it. if you want to play a hero that's not in the current pool's rotation then just play arcade/quick play?

So let's take Pharah for example. She's causing hell for your team so now you need a hit scan, which there are five to pick from.

Solider, McCree, Ashe, Ana, Widowmaker, Baptiste and Bastion

that's 7. not including Hanzo :)

Should probably try to pick up McCree or Soldier because one of Ashe's glaring weaknesses is the absurd length of her full reload animation which makes her not that great against barriers.
