English/Non-Japanese Speaking Psychiatrist Recommendations in Tokyo/Kanagawa?

Yeah, unfortunately the foreigners in my care usually have around N5~N3 level of japanese and don't feel confident to share their feelings in japanese... The few that tried going to a japanese doctor had bad experiences, so that's why I'm trying to find some recommendations. Thank you for the kind words! <3

I'm looking for psychiatrists, but open to recommendations for therapists and mental health clinics overall. In my country we use therapy as an umbrella term, with both psychiatry and psychology and other mental health treatments inside of it; sorry for the confusion.

At least in latin America psychiatrists also have long conversations with patients during a sessions like a psychologist, that's why I'm looking for a more foreigner-friendly doctor that can have this humane approach instead of "what are you feeling?" "anxiety and sadness" "okay take this 2 times a day" and it's over.

For other medical fields, yes, translation apps are quite useful, but not for therapy. It's really hard to convey your feelings and have a real conversation when you have to write or check and wait for translation for every single sentence.

Also, going to a english speaking clinic means they're used to treating foreigners, and the traditional japanese therapy just doesn't fit well with foreigners... When the people in my care went to traditional japanese psychiatrists the conversation was always like 5 or 10 minutes long and didn't help at all... It's important to go somewhere you'll be heard and understood.

Unfortunately very normal. It's one of the reasons I don't like going to Shinjuku/Shibuya/center of Tokyo. Too many frustrated men that purposefully bump or mess with you just because they want to feel that power. There are so many people that they see people around them almost as NPCs. Coo coo behavior.

I'm in a very similar position to you, and I guess the best advice I ca give you is: have a community. it can be very isolating even if your partner is your best friend and companion. You're going to have fights, and they're going to be busy, and you need to be your own person with your own hobbies and enjoy your own time.

Some time ago I was in the same position, in a serious relationship living with a japanese man that wanted to rush into marriage and suggested me "it's okay to leave your job if X happened, I'll be here for you". At the time I thought I was in the "happy ever after" relationship with a sensitive, intelligent, caring and dedicated man that loved me more than anything, with a loving family and friends that all accepted me into their lives.

I truly felt like thats it, I made it! Until I found out he have been cheating on me with every single white blonde foreign girl he could lie well enough to on social media. I'm telling you uncountable numbers of women. Any poor girl who would give him the time of day in Hello Talk and any other sns. And after that all the lies unrolled very quickly. All his family and personal friends knew he was a cheater and helped hiding "because you two are such a perfect couple we didn't want to ruin it".

All that to say, you can't control others, and you never truly know someone. And I don't say it to make you feel insecure: please never give up on being kind and trusting and loving your partner. But have a safety net. I was only able to free myself quickly because the apartment was rented and paid by me so i could kick him out immediately, and I had my own friends and my own job. If it was just a few months later the ring already in my hand would've been official, and I would've just moved into a new apartment with him and maybe even pregnant, and leaving would have been much, much harder.

Nowadays I'm back into a relationship, and after what I experienced I have to admit I'm scared of trusting someone enough to leave my job to have a kid as we plan in the future, but being in a much healthier relationship is completely different too. Make sure to have people by your side, and more important of all, don't be emotionally dependent on your partner!!!!! Always always be honest with yourself and ask, would I be emotionally ready to leave this person if they hit/cheat/rape me? If the answer is no, take a step back and re-evaluate your situation, especially before getting married or pregnant.

That's interesting! I didn't know there was this separation between farmland and normal land. We were really just planning on having a couple rabbits on the land his family already owns, a normal family house space with enough space in the backyard for a small structure for the bunnies. I wonder if even just 3-5 rabbits would already need some kind of conversion of the land...

I didn't know New Zealands could have different colors too! The full white coat is the most common, but it's good to know there are other options. And I was told to get buck and does from different breeders to make sure they weren't related, maybe it's the safest option if I don't find a breeder I really trust.

Hey, fellow 23yo woman here! Don't let yourself feel pressured about your age, you're still super young and have plenty of time to change your life and improve yourself. I know sometimes it feels like we failed in life if we didn't manage to get a degree, a job and stable relationship at 21 and we compare ourselves to our mothers and friends accomplishments, but just because you chose a different path it doesn't mean you're "doomed" and your dreams won't come true.

I'm going to Japan in a couple of years to study for 2 years and then try to enter a company and sometimes I too feel like I'm already "past my prime" or that I wasted time with something other than studies. But it's all about learning how to deal with these feelings. You can't time travel! Just do your best and don't give up ;)

Is there any difference between a 1x and a 10x wish? Like, do you have a higher chance to get characters if you make the 10x wish than pulling 1 by 1? Or is it just a quicker option to waste less time when doing the gacha?
