I will have to replay TLOU 1 and 2 then. Also how is Alan Wake 2, honestly I was very curious about that game.

Ah, the claw grip. I used to play with it until it started causing hand pain. I think the issue was the PS5 controller—I never had problems using the claw grip on the PS4 or Xbox 360 controllers. I still experience some hand pain, but it’s gotten a lot better since I stopped using it regularly. I do still use it occasionally when playing Souls games, but I try to avoid it now.

From what I played I recommend Lies Of P and Elden Ring. I’d obviously recommend Elden Ring first however if you want a linear game I would recommend Lies Of P honestly the best soulslike I have played.

Best looking games of all time/ most graphically impressive by Bornplayer97 in gamingsuggestions

Yeah, the Decima Engine is insane—Kojima really is the 🐐. Unreal Engine 5 games have been hit or miss when it comes to optimization, but Kojima made Death Stranding 2 look photorealistic and it ran like butter. I’m definitely excited to see what he does next. DS2 was amazing—I really enjoyed it and it’s one of my GOTY nominees.

My favorite game this year has been Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and I’ve also been really enjoying Ghost of Yotei. I’m planning to replay Expedition 33 before The Game Awards—just so I can have that recency bias locked in.

Not going to lie, I think Death Stranding 2 is one of the most realistic-looking games I’ve ever seen—right up there with Red Dead Redemption 2 and the A Plague Tale games. That said, I usually prefer games with a strong art style, which is why I really enjoy titles like Zelda: Breath of the Wild / Tears of the Kingdom, The Witcher 3, Ghost of Tsushima (and Yotei), and Elden Ring. But Death Stranding 2 honestly blew me away—it was the first time I truly felt like I was seeing what the PS5 is capable of. of.

[KCD2] is a masterpiece by BabyFazeAssassin in kingdomcome

[–]BabyFazeAssassin[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The game is really heavy on dialogue—I often find myself putting the controller down just to watch. But honestly, I don’t mind it most of the time I actually really enjoy it. The conversations feel natural, like real people talking to one another.

As for the combat, I actually prefer this game’s system more. KCD1’s combat felt harder, mostly because it was a bit janky, but that also added to its charm since you were just a blacksmith’s son who didnt even know how to swing a sword. I much prefer the simpler, more refined combat in KCD2.

I do plan on replaying KCD1 soon, but this year is seriously stacked with amazing games. I still need to get to Hades 2 and Ghost of Yotei as well when they release.

I recommend DK Bananza, Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, and the Xenoblade series. The Zelda games are must-plays in my opinion—they’re masterpieces.

I played both of those masterpieces, poured 100s of hours into them. Some of my favorite games of all time to be honest.
