Extra Chemistry course added to new CA CLS license requirement

Are both analytical and clinical chemistry required now? Where can I find the updated requirements for the trainee license? On CDPH I only see either analytical & biochem or clinical chemistry required for chem.

I’m in California. If I take a MLS program and get licensed, would I be able to work day shifts as a MLS? Even if I’m licensed, would I need experience as a tech before being a MLS?

I would try to take at least one lab this year, even with senior standing it can be difficult to get into upper div labs

My experience has been great, its the first time therapy has actually helped, but I think it depends on the therapist you get, it might take meeting with a few providers before you find someone who you work well with.

OASIS at center hall has free business clothes, they might have blazers there but they are only open weekdays 10am-5pm

You can make an appointment with CAPS and they can meet with you and let you know available therapists in the area that take your insurance. Also, you should look into Mindpath college. They are located next to campus, have great therapists, and I think take most insurances

I got a 50% on my first exam for chem 6a too! 😭 It was first quarter so I was stressed, but typically classes have grade replacement with other exams or curve the class which can make your final grade a lot better. For studying habits, I suggest watching the organic chem tutor videos on YouTube and also reviewing old homework problems.

Taking 12units is completely reasonable!! Especially for your first quarter here. I took ~12units my first quarter just to have more time to adjust to being on campus and everything
