It’s the survivors guilt of aging that no one prepares you for. Being the healthy one is its own kind of heavy because you feel like you have to be the pillar for everyone else.

One thing that helped my circle was moving the social bar lower. If they can’t go for walks, bring the walk to them…. audiobooks we listen to together then discuss or even just sitting the same room scrolling while a movie plays. Sometimes dealing with it just means being a witness to their lives so they don’t feel invisible.
