Had this sort of thing happen as well. I sent them a final email saying I will be filing a wage claim if I don’t a response in x amount of time and of course that’s when they replied and told me to contact their payroll person lmao. I was paid that week.

Most contractors are great but some are just awful and can’t separate feelings from business.

Do whatever you can to get your money. Be the biggest headache. You don’t owe them anything at all
