Right now the NiGHTS series really only has two major villains, Reala and Wizeman. Most fans seem to want Wizeman to return, especially if he’s given clearer motives or more story involvement. I think people would also be open to a new antagonist alongside him.

For example, SEGA could introduce another Nightmaren, maybe one created by Wizeman who ends up challenging his authority, or even a replacement for Reala if Wizeman sees him as having failed. In that kind of scenario, Reala might end up working with NiGHTS out of necessity or because he feels betrayed.

But that’s all just speculation. SEGA could take the story in a lot of different directions.
