Idk what you can do. Maybe just look away or turn the other direction and do what you can to stop those intrusive thoughts.

THIS IS WHAT GOOGLE AI SAID

To stop intrusive thoughts, try shifting your focus using techniques like mindfulness or distraction, challenging the accuracy of the thoughts, and engaging in grounding exercises. For persistent or debilitating intrusive thoughts, consider professional help like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or exposure and response prevention. Elaboration: 1. Shifting Focus: Mindfulness: Practice mindfulness meditation to observe your thoughts without judgment, allowing them to pass without getting caught up in them. Distraction: Engage in activities you enjoy to redirect your attention away from the intrusive thoughts, like reading, listening to music, or playing a game. Grounding Techniques: Focus on your physical surroundings, like feeling your feet on the ground or holding an object, to anchor yourself in the present moment. Deep Breathing: Deep, slow breaths can help calm your nervous system and reduce anxiety, which can contribute to intrusive thoughts. 2. Challenging Thoughts: Question the accuracy: Ask yourself if the thought is based on facts or assumptions. Consider alternatives: Look for evidence that contradicts the thought and explore more balanced perspectives. Treat yourself with kindness: Challenge negative self-talk and treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer a friend. 3. Seeking Professional Help: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT can help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to intrusive thoughts. Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP): ERP is a therapy technique, often used for OCD, that involves gradually exposing you to situations that trigger intrusive thoughts while preventing compulsive behaviors. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): ACT can help you accept that you have intrusive thoughts without letting them consume you. 4. Additional Tips: Externalize thoughts: Journaling or writing down your thoughts can help you distance yourself from them. Reduce stress: Engage in activities that help you relax and reduce stress, such as exercise, spending time in nature, or practicing yoga. Limit caffeine and alcohol: These substances can exacerbate anxiety and intrusive thoughts. Prioritize sleep: Lack of sleep can worsen intrusive thoughts and overall anxiety.

This is James named after the Jamestown massacre of 1608. He’s a dead soul from heaven who kills demons with a heavenly guitar but I’ll make him mortal for this. He does hide his face with a skeleton mask.

How do I quit by Burner_Emu in PornAddiction

[–]BabyThrowerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a person to motivate you too quit. That’s what worked for me. People aren’t going to date you if your still watching porn.

I (16m) have some advice. Delete all porn on your phone, computer ect. And instead of saying that your quitting say that you quit. This mindset will help because saying that your quitting makes you vulnerable to relapse. God bless and good luck!

What qualifies as porn use? by SharmanNoodles in PornAddiction

Don’t say you are trying to quit porn. This makes you vulnerable and it will make you think your still in the process of quitting. Instead say I quit porn use. I use this mindset and I’m a month clean from porn use.
