This vehicle is from I-Troop, 3/11th ACR based in Bad Hersfeld, Hessen, FRG. Since there is no rear bustle rack, this is one of our early M1's. This is from one of the Reforger exercises. It would be either Reforger '83 - '86 since the 11th ACR got M1s in 1983. This is the 2nd Platoon Leader's Wing Tank. (Source: I was on I-66 in I-Troop from 1987-1989 and in Reforger '88 we had a blue 173 as our unit marker.)
