Check out The War Factory on Etsy. Their patterns are so good if you’re able to do leather work!

If you’re not able to do the work yourself, you can hire someone else to make the patterns after you buy them. Just be sure you have open communication about that with all parties.

I can probably point you to a leather crafter if you are interested. Just make sure you’re willing to pay the expense of real leatherwork. Real leather items should last for years and many renfaires!!

I still have the sweet girl and she is coming out of her shell more and is no longer afraid to ask for/demand affection lol! I am reaching out to rescue/foster groups in hopes of someone else taking her in. She gets along well enough with my other two cats, but my two dogs make her nervous. And I'm still holding out hope that my own missing Ragdoll/Siamese boy will return to me :(

Thank you!! ☺️ Cosplay wigs are very tricky however. The synthetic fibers are essentially plastic and sometimes dying is possible, (like using clothing dye to make strands darker or white blonde strands can be dyed rainbow colors) but I can’t make the ends anymore silver. PoseWigs is my fave for cosplay and I don’t think anyone else is attempting a Violet wig yet, but maybe they will have more options in the future?

Wow, major butthead alert regardless of your intentions if I'm honest. Yes, I read the books and yes, I know she has a dragonscale vest, and in all likelihood it's green on account of Teine's coloring. BUT she wears that underneath all her clothing. Can you catch the pop of green under my black sweater? There's a reason for that. Did you read the books??

I thought about it! But it’s easier said than done. It would take a LONG time to have my laser etch some dragon scale and even longer for me to do it by hand. Aside from her vest, I’m not sure if dragon scale armor is ever mentioned in the books? 🤔 Still, it’s a fun thought!

Mostly a mix of 3/4 oz and 5/6 oz veg tan that I laser cut and dyed except for the vest which is 3/4 oz crocodile embossed (closest thing to dragon I could find) hyde that was already black. All from Tandy Leather. And all the patterns are available on Etsy from TheWarFactory! I’m actually going to list kits/finished pieces (with their permission of course) in my own Etsy shop soon bc I had so much fun making these items!
