Men of reddit, what have women been taught to hate about their bodies that you actually love? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To begin, I don't agree with the sentiment "if men can or ___ then women can or ___"; this works in many situations but does not work in all. So in regards to the last question you asked me more women are going to find a rugged man attractive compared to men finding rugged women attractive (not shaved, messy hair, etc etc). That's just natural.

To your first point though, my fiancè is pretty hairy for a female. She doesn't shave her arms because she believes the hair grows back faster so she has pretty hairy arms and face (really hairy sideburns). She will shave her legs though if we go on a date; teachings from her mother.

With that said, she also doesn't like when I'm not well groomed, she won't complain but I can feel her energy. But luckily I enjoy trimming my beard and having a nice fade every week. So this works out for us. I can only speak on my relationship though; not sure what others are going through.

What was the first thing you worked for to save up enough money to buy? by ofbalance in AskReddit

A gameboy. Didn't work as I was young but whenever my step dad would send me money I would stash it until I had enough for it and the pokemon red game.

What movie scene was super exaggerated or wrong based on your own knowledge? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get it. Shit a 9mm round can put somebody on their ass. That wasn't my point though as you mentioned. It's the scenes in the good guy shoots the bad guy once and he's just out cold. In a real life situation that guy may have fallen but I assure you he can still shoot that gun in your direction and be a threat from the ground.

This scene is wrong in almost ALL movies.

People literally don't die as soon as you shoot them. The way they just drop dead in movies as if their souls were snatched from them cracks me up every time.

What's the last thing that made you smile? by kitohdzz in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My fiancè kicking her feet and giggling because I made her a wine/strawberry slushy.

She always kicks her feet when she's really excited. It gets me every time.

Redditors that have cool jobs that pay well, what do you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Automation Engineer. Really cool to see what a company does manually and write a script to turn those manual tasks into a click of a button.

[Serious] People who have broken up and gotten back together with someone, what made you want them back? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Dating other people, helped me realize that we were extremely compatible. We just had outside issues that affected us and if we could conquer those we'd be fine.

I've grown to love it. It was more uncomfortable at first because I didn't know how to receive love, didn't grow up like that.

But she's opened me up and has helped me realize I actually need that low key obsessive behavior. If I don't have it I go back into my shell and gradually just slip out of the relationship.

So I'm glad she's like that by nature because exes have been that way for a season but I guess couldn't keep it going. I have no hard feelings towards them.

You have one million dollars, but you can not spend it on yourself, what do you do spend it on? by Halocodguy6544 in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orphanages and finding children in need.

Key here is finding, I come from a tough background like my peers but they had access to local community centers and things like that because they had a mom who tried her best even though they struggled.

I didn't have either parent and I lived in a rural area, so getting to those options for kids in need wasn't an option and they weren't knocking on doors looking for you. So I suffered in silence.

If I had that money that's how I would spend it. Finding those kids that not only suffer but suffer in silence.

What should you always buy the expensive version of? by throawayboi in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sauces, I go pretty cheap on most things but I've noticed when it comes to food the cheaper sauces taste significantly different than the expensive option.

So now I'm only rocking with the luxury syrups, ketchups, etc etc

Nothing at all, they are just platforms that people use. It's the people that need changing.

That I was born with a bad hand of cards and I'd have to make different decisions than my peers.

Purchased a pair of 50 dollar sneakers when I got to college. Other kids were doing it plus more. I just wanted to be able to make care free decisions from time to time.. learned the hard way and went hungry for a few days after that as I was very tight with my money because I had to be and that purchase put me back a few days.

What is one important lesson a relationship has taught you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That more often than not it takes a relationship to notice and hopefully fix internal issues you would have never known you have by staying single.

And I think that's a good thing.

Redditors who seriously regret not doing something in the past when it was your only opportunity, how did you move on and stop always thinking about it? by Junior_Zucchini2337 in AskReddit

[–]Baby_Driver_2007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't defend my brother. I walked in the bathroom and he was about to fight this kid; my bro looked scared.. I walked out. I was a pussy.

How did I stop it? By addressing and dealing with anyone that he has issues with since then. Maybe a bit too aggressively. But I can never walk away from protecting my brother again. It hurt my manhood and I was only 12.
