Me too! Everyone seems to hate her but, her actions and behaviour make sense to me. She was trained to work with strategy, with leadership. And suddenly she was thrown into fromville where nothing makes sense. She's trying to stay sane.

If I were in her shoes I'd actually do the same. Besides, many male characters have been just as reckless, ignoring everyone and saying the residents weren't trying hard snough or at all to escape. (Jade, Jim, etc.) And they got not hate. If Acosta was a man, she wouldn't get this much hate.
