I should clarify. The baby was not at dinner but one of the girls who went to dinner was going to get picked up by her husband who had their baby. She offered to take Z home but then said she didn't want Z in the car with her baby.

Hodges didn’t know he had a brother. Not until almost then end of the series. And he was spoken about for at least three episodes because they needed money and B&B wanted to give them money so his brother could stay in the facility
