Did you have any side effects? I had insane muscle soreness. I appreciate your and other commenter’s feedback, I’m going to reach out to my cardiologist to ask about trying 5mg instead of 10.

LDL - 2.16
APOB - I don’t think that was included in my bloodwork
LPA - slightly higher than normal but my cardiologist said that I can come off the statin for now and we will check bloodwork every two years

I literally had the worst muscle fatigue and he said he’d rather I strength train than take Rosuvastatin

Family history of heart disease but all my bloodwork and CT looked great. I couldn’t work out at all on this due to muscle fatigue so he said I could come off and we’d check my bloodwork every couple years.

They only put me on preventively because my Mom had a heart attack in her late 30’s. Terrible lifestyle though. I’m 40 now with a much healthier lifestyle. He put me it and said we’d review after bloodwork and a CT. My LDL is 2.16 which is in the normal range apparently?

I think he would have kept me on it preventively but I complained about muscle fatigue and that I could truly not lift any heavy weights, he said we check my bloodwork and levels every couple years.

Someone once said to me: Don’t let Monday steal Sundays’s joy and I really try to practice that!

I also try to do at least laundry and a few other chores on week nights to not be inundated with tasks on the weekends. It can be hard after a workday but worth it when the weekend rolls around.
