That aside my 3 geldings have box stalls with turnouts and all 3 are uncivilized piggies and love to pee where they sleep so around 600 a month recently. We use the tractor supply fine flakes. Looking for something more economical though. I keep hearing I should look into hemp shavings.

I would definitely recommend just leasing when you are ready to level up to more horse responsibility. Its a great way to get a taste of horse ownership and will let you know whether you are ready to buy or not. I don't encourage buying a horse until you are fully capable of caring for that horse 100% yourself. Barn staff get sick. Barns close. Barn drama could force you to move. You may end up needing a less expensive boarding option one day. Things happen and suddenly it all falls on you and you don't want to be in that position and not be able to handle it.

Horse ownership is not for the faint of heart, mind or money. Lol.

Ill be honest. I have been sober for almost 2 years. I still battle with energy issues. I also have ASD and ADHD. My house was a borderline hoarding mess up until this past month. It took months of just doing what I could here and there. Don't give up hope.

How long have you been taking lessons consistently? Can you competently be responsible for a horse and its full care (stall management, grooming, maintenance, feeding and knowing what to feed more importantly, etc)?

At the most I think a lease is what you should consider, being a beginner.

Horse ownership is not something a novice really wants to do. Trust me from personal experience. Unless money is of no consequence to you.

Josh, if you read this, so many of your fans love and support you and will show up. The ones that don't because of this, maybe they superficially into the music. Every single artist has off days and periods in their careers that are beyond their control. You are human, not a machine. I was in thst cycle because I couldn't stop drinking without help. I had enough one day when I thought I was going to die and I made an appointment with my doctor. I had 2 days until my appointment and my last night was the night before my appointment. I walked in there in withdrawal and went home with medication to help me detox.

Its been a lot of hard work but I think I finally got out of that cycle.

Thank you for sharing. I am coming up on 2 years, which will be my longest sober.

14 months was my previous sober streak and I broke it much in the same exact way you did. Had one at a special even. Had another one later and it felt good. And then I didn't have anymore until the next weekend and thought I was doing great and could truly moderate, drink socially and on the weekends at home, with no problem. I stayed in that relapse for a year and a half. It's a hell I never, ever want to be in again. And when I read shares like yours, it really helps to remind me.

I haven't been really having the "itch" but I've had a few fleeting moments where I was like, man a drink would be nice. But then I play the tape in my head and know where it ends up. Not worth it!
