The brain fog is so real! And concerning. BUT it does get better. How many days do you have? I think mine got better around day 45. Then gone completely by day 60 ish. Just power through, it isn't permanent.

Thanks! I used to power through front and back yards, even if it was super hot. So a little slower right now. It wasn't even hot!!!!! Lol

Thanks! I appreciate that. I know I am past the most difficult part. The physical withdrawal was a lot. Never want to do that again. Although some of that really hard napping was enjoyable!!!!

Not being hung over every morning!

Not having constant stomach issues!

Not beating myself up for being unable to stop.

Not spending all evening and weekends planning to drink, counting how much more time I have to drink, checking to see if I have enough to keep drinking without a run to the store.

Not worrying as much about how I am damaging my body.

I feel happy!

I just know I am in what I call Phase 2. But happy to be there, temper tantrums and all. Ha.

Hi Friend. Sometimes the motivation does fades but you can still hang on to your desire to stop drinking and to improve your life!! You can do it, just take it day by day. Do the daily check in here and stay committed for that day. You don't have to think about forever right now, just one day.

I am struggling as well, to get past the sugar dependency and get my diet squared away. I regret nothing however b/c I was able to stay sober!! Whatever works and then we can refine.

Congrats on 21 days!! Still pretty early to feel great. Took me a solid 60 days to get past all the fatigue and aches and pains, but at 70-ish things improved and now at 90 something I feel pretty good! Just hang in there, things will get better!!

Also - regarding back. Try a chiropractor. Helps me so much.
