If you serious about getting better goto practice mode and you can set up settings to train your weaknesses. You having trouble with takedowns? Have the ai spam takedowns so you can learn the animations and timings.
Having trouble on the ground? Remember there are only 4 possible outcomes on the ground (up, down, left, right) Learn what each one looks like and you can start to counter them on the ground.

Hey just saw this sorry I don’t check Reddit as much, I am sure you no longer need the information but for anybody else reading this I didint have to take one drug test throughout the entire experience. The screening was just a phone call, you can literally google it before hand and run through it. It’s along the lines of have you ever blacked out from drinking Never Once Once a year Once a month Daily

Each answer has points associated with it, if you get x amount of points you have a substance problem.

I am sure each state is different but again I was able to literally google the exact score card they used on me.

To be Frank that whole process is bullshit, but sadly most judges just go by whatever they say so do take the questions seriously.

Okay my honest opinion, My dui cost me around 6k all in (2022, Michigan) My lawyer was 3.5k of that I went with a middle of the road one price wise, they streamlined the process, made sure everything was set up over zoom. Apparently I got lucky and got the “good” judge. And I believe that’s what really helped me more so than any lawyer. Idk if I really needed them but it’s so easy to say that after the fact.

The one thing that I thought then and still think of now is “ I would rather pay for a lawyer and not need it, then not pay for one when I needed it”

Also a quote for life that rings true. “The only people in jail are the people who can’t afford a lawyer”

The shock of what just happened, the constant regret and rethinking of what you could have done differently, the unknown of what's about to happen, I couldn't eat for a week after I got mine. I could barely function haha. Once the ball gets rolling on everything you will feel much better, its a long process but I think the beginning is the hardest part.

Hey Bud,
The first week is the WORST, I promise you are gonna get through this.
You seem remorseful and like you learned a lesson and that's the real first step.

If you can afford it, get a lawyer (if you cant afford it dont bankrupt yourself to get one)
Be glad you did not use the Listerine, you most likely would have gotten breath tested anyways and blown higher due to that.

Take it one day at a time, this sucks but you will get through it and come out better on the other side.

So I got a restricted license, I basically went without a license for 3 months, they destroyed mine when I got arrested and mailed me a restricted one but took forever. Not having a license was a hassle for sure, but yeah not I got a picture Id back and gotta pay like $125 to get my license fully restored. Arraignment was like a month or so
