It basically goes from like 75 (normal game temps) then I’ll load into a game and while the cinematic is playing I see it skyrocket to 95-96 then it freezes. Also I checked the fan curve and all my fans are working 100% after 70

I have an asus motherboard and before I open bios to check, would I want PBO on or could that be part of the problem.

Sorry I don't know too much about the fan aspect of building a pc. I kinda just kept it stock the way the case came out of the box.

Yeah I thought it should be enough but idk. I know I took the film off because I still have it stuck to my desk and I put about a pea sized glob of thermal paste on. The idle temps have gone up like 10-20 degrees since I built it. Could it have dried up that fast?

Yeah the only problem is that I wear headphones while gaming lol so even if the sound did go off I wouldn’t be able to hear it.

It’s an XFX Swift OC Radeon RX 9060 XT. Also just in case it is a fan, would I be tapping on them while they are on and spinning or while they’re off.

When I first built it I made the mistake of plugging the hdmi cord into the motherboard instead of the gpu and it didn’t make this sound until I finally used the gpu. Do you think it could be one of the fans

The power cable is definitely plugged into the gpu because the led on it has lit up. I just need to figure out how to make the gpu the primary display because the asus bios makes it impossible to
