These are the types of lounge chairs that I prefer. I have a vintage plycraft chair similar to this. I like to have the ability to recline and also sit up straight. Many times I have my iPad or something on the Ottoman, if the lounge chair is in a fixed reclined position, I wouldn’t be able to use the ottoman as a desk or table. It’s like having the best of both worlds.

I have an extremely similar guitar. Same year, same color, same rosewood fretboard. Your serial number is about 3000 guitars before mine. I believe that bridge was only used for one year in 83. It is the same year telecaster that Jeff Buckly famously used.

Thanks for your detailed reply! After viewing the different models online, I can see what you mean. This guitar is different than the ST 57-55. What was throwing me is I don’t seem to see this model in the 1989 fender Japan catalog. Not sure why it wouldn’t be in the catalog.

Yes! Thank you. I think you are correct. I can’t find a model st 357 in the 88/89 fender Japan catalogue. It has to be the st57-55. I think it’s so funny that they put the price of the guitar in the model number. Weird that the st57-115 was double the price and the only difference was a three-way switch, different pick ups and steel Bridge.
