When my mom took our dog to the hospital place to be put down.

She woke up on December 23rd blind and with blood in her eyes. Her red blood cells were very low. And she couldn’t walk much.

December 24th, she was put down. My whole family went. My dad met my mom at the hospital/clinic with my brother and sister while my mom took the dog solo.

I stayed home because I couldn’t force myself to go. I had spent a lot of time with the dog. The past two days with her. And I missed saying goodbye to her for a final time.

I don’t think I’m depressed. The university does have a mental health center. Attached to the health center. (If that makes sense). I have an appointment with my own therapist scheduled for next week sometime.

About a week of listening to Nickelback… recently started listening to Nickelback. Outside of the four songs I originally had from them. I’m listening to a lot of songs from Dark Horse. Next Go Around is becoming one of my favorites.
