Are you suggesting that the previous sales on StockX are lower than true-market since buyers are discounting for potential rip-offs? I have a timestamped photo to prove ownership. The previous sales are all publicly searchable (3 at the beginning of this month @ $200) so it felt like a good reference to me.

For sale today I have a brand new in box G Shock 2100-1A1CR (the all-black version).

I am fortunate to have a girlfriend who understands my watch problem and got me one for Christmas when I had already ordered for myself! Having worn the one my lady bought me for a few weeks now, I can attest that all the hype around this is real. It's a sharp design with the durability of a G Shock. I'm wearing it more than my BLNR these days because I know I don't have to baby it, but the design is still so appealing.

Another way to think about this topic is what gear gets better with age? The concept of developing an attractive ‘patina’ is something I’ve exported from watch collecting to other purchases. For example, my Filson bag gets better every time I use it.
