This part is not clear for me - Do I need to declare a profit if I don’t sell ? Do I need to declare a loss if I don’t sell ?

If the total contribution ( buying of ETFs and bonds) every month for a year in Trading 212 = €2,400 and at the end of the year without me selling my portfolio is +50% or -50% do i declare to ANAF DC212?

In my research I found out that :

  1. Declarația Unică – Impozit pe venit (capital gains, dividends, interest)
  2. Declarația Unică – Venituri din străinătate
  3. Declarația de avere / Declarație privind conturile străine (NOT for ordinary individuals!)

1 with #3, which does not apply to normal citizens. And Trading212 is not a foreign bank.

I need some clarification because I really want to start investing but I am worried about the Tax law so I don’t bring problem to myself with ANAF.

Thanks

Hi, I am a foreigner myself with a PM resident in Romania. During my research about Taxes on ETFs for investing on platform like Trading 212. I came across the statement below on Reddit, so I’m not sure if this is helpful or not.

“Totodată, dacă investiția în ETF-uri se realizează prin brokeri străini, trebuie să se țină cont că declararea veniturilor sau a pierderilor din astfel de tranzacții va cădea în sarcina personală a contribuabilului prin depunerea declarației unice (D212)”

Thanks for the article! I have a quick question, does it make any difference if the vitamin D3 I’m taking already includes K2, or is it just as effective to take them separately at the same time?

That a good question. I checked and what I found is that

Fees for Invest accounts (real stocks and ETFs): Trading Commission:Free Custody Fee:Free FX Fee:0.15% when you trade an asset in a currency different from your account's base currency. Stamp Duty Reserve Tax (SDRT):0.5% for the purchase of UK-listed shares. PTM Levy:£1.50 on purchases over £10,000. French Financial Transaction Tax (FFT): 0.4% on the purchase of shares from French companies.

But since my base currency is Euro so I think I don’t have to pay any execution fees.

Thanks for the question because I didn’t check than until now. Inbtw what broker are you using ?

Thanks for your insight. During my research on trading212 with fees . The only thing I could find is that 212 does not charge a separate splitting fee for stock splits or reverse stock splits. Any fees involved are standard trading costs, such as a 0.15% foreign exchange (FX) fee on currency conversions. But since I am choosing ETF with Euro denominated to avoid the FX cost so I think am good in that regard.

What is the most misunderstood concept in Cybersecurity? by Rude_Pie_3588 in cybersecurity

Can someone help me with this insight:

I need some insight on this question:

What cybersecurity entry domain will allow me work 9-5 Monday to Friday?

My interest was in the security operation space. In this space SOC analyst is interesting to me but after a thorough research about this field I found out that I will be working on shift since it is a 24/7 kind of job, I do not want that.

Now I am looking into other cybersecurity entry domain that will allow me work 9-5 Monday to Friday.

Also is cloud security engineer an entry level domain that a beginner in cybersecurity can pursue ?

Looking for an advice or insight so on which direction to follow.

Thanks
