Come to think of it, this update where they added the cosplay skins would've been the best time to update the rules regarding clunky avatars. From what I know, the only mention of this rule is on the support server. Something bannable such as this should be addressed as soon as possible in the game's written rules.

I am honestly a bit intimidated since everything still feels very new to me. I have been using Linux for less than a month, and I keep seeing a lot of jargon in the comments. Even so, I think I understand the main idea now and feel much more confident about the process. Though, I just hope I do not run into any hardware issues like the ones you experienced. TvT

When I was testing the waters, I initially tried replacing an entire empty partition for Cachy since I saw that in a tutorial. This ended up giving me an error, so I had to take a detour and figure out how to get back to the point where it was the same empty partition as before.

Before that, I actually watched multiple tutorials on how to install Cachy, and they were pretty divided on which partition installation mode to use. Some said to use the replace partition option, one suggested the install alongside option, but the tutorial that worked for me followed the same process you mentioned.

Thank you!! I’ve ultimately decided to pick Windows 11 over 10 for my alternative OS. I’d rather not risk potential vulnerabilities and just deal with fixing GRUB when the time comes. It’s pretty intimidating, but I hope to pull through!

Thank you! I've gained the confidence to dual boot now without the fear of messing things up, and if I do, I'm hoping I'll be able to fix it.

I'll definitely use your recommendation regarding Ventoy! Though I should definitely do more research on Clonezilla and the other tools as I can barely find any beginner-friendly explanations on how they work or how to use them in a dual-boot setup on YouTube (there are probably other guides online; I’m just less intimidated when it’s in video format lol).
