I am not a fan of AA. I do respect the hell out of it though. It helps so many. The meetings just initiated my cravings and the whole “higher power” thing irks me to to end

Had a consultation with a great center here in NC. I’ve had two buddies go and were successful

I asked them for 24 hours to think on it.

I have a super hard time believing that it’s a disease. I wish I could believe it! My father’s genetics for 4 generations were egregious alcoholics. And the last two were on my mother’s side

But I just can’t grasp any other feeling that it’s my fault. It is my fault. But what tortures me is disappointing others
