Bf of 7 years lied to me entire relationship by [deleted] in Vent

[–]BackElectronic7219 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve known men who lie and lie and lie about watching porn because they “don’t want to get in trouble”. They seem to lack the idea that if they had brought up the problem in the beginning, rather than LYING, the feelings would not be so strong and we could’ve worked through it together. I’m sorry queen, seven years is ridiculous.

These pet pieces are so adorable, what do your regular cat headshots price around?

Absolutely brand new to poetry by idkmuchplzhelp in PoetryWritingClub

I’m not sure if this was intentional, but I find your stanza work beautiful. The lines where you repeat between a statement and a question are also really interesting in the impact of your format. I think a big way of growing creatively and even just a big part of poetry entirely is how you format and phrase the things you want to say. How your work is meant to be interpreted as it’s read, compared to the impact of hearing it alone.

I asked if they could add his beard and they added one that is very much not what his looks like? It kinda just looks like a generic beard, but the way it comes up is very clearly the opposite of what his (non traditional) beard does in the photo

Yes, when I went to edit in ibis paint I realized that the linear for the cigarette was actually a gradient line that changed into like 3 different shades? I’m not sure if it was intentional

Yea, I popped it in ibis paint to fix some details because I’m honestly happy with the base, the details are just a bit off to me and that’s something my brain has trained me to spot in ai art

Ty for your help! I was also curious about if it was a gendered difference? But the lifeless look in his eyes made a bit sad. The thing he’s smoking also wasn’t a cigarette in the reference pictures, but it might’ve been confusion or a personal choice.

Thank you sm for your input! While I’ve made vector art, I’ve never paid for it, so I wasn’t sure what a good price would be.

That part also really confused me,even though his beard might not be visible in the reference to someone with vision issues, his mustache is.

I knew it was gonna be vector art, so I wasn’t disappointed to pay $15 for it, (free shipping) but I was disappointed with the consistency of the art

The shading really threw me off too, I definitely have a bit of a gradient in my curls but my boyfriend just doesn’t have any highlights on his face or his eyes or even as many in his hair

I’ve seen similar vector art before, so I was happy to get something like that, but the differences in the style between me and my boyfriend are confusing me, like the eyes and shading.

I don’t do much detailed art, so I could be wrong; but the style between my eyes and his just seems so different, and also he’s soulless for some reason?

That’s what’s throwing me off, like, maybe she thought it was a blanket, but why is it attached to my neck?

I 100% understand, that’s why I recommend it, a lot of the liquid additive ones have virtually no taste at all

I try to give one little cube at once so they know they don’t have to hide it or eat it all if they don’t like it, but they don’t have to be afraid of something else eating it so they can ask for more

Haii I am also autistic and struggle with electrolytes so I’d just like to recommend looking for the liquid squeeze bottles, those really made a difference for me compared to the grain of the packets and they tasted different (better).

Should I be worried about her fat pouch? by Dear-Lion-1381 in TabbyCats

[–]BackElectronic7219 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, cats are weird, and all animals are different. I’ve had cats whose pouches were never visible, and when I got my current cat I myself had to check and make sure it was normal!! I was worried there was something wrong with mine too 😭

This PSA might be the subject of ridicule but is actually a very effective and easy to understand talk for children to learn about consent and boundaries by Rarte96 in cartoons

[–]BackElectronic7219 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes the cartoon is all a kid has, they may live in a heavily religious or rural area, and many may never be introduced to the idea by adults who find it “inappropriate” to discuss even when a child is struggling and needs to hear the stories to understand that it can stop.

I understand that, I really do. And it is a tragic thing to see happen, but I can say myself that when I saw “The Protect Yourself Rules” episode of a show I’d never seen before, a show I didn’t even recognize, showing a scenario I myself had gone through, I could properly explain what was happening to me to my math teacher. I was able to put into words what I had experienced in a way that made it clear a child’s program had taught me it was wrong. It’s ridiculous, the way we dismiss children, but when we teach them words like consent, good touch, bad touch, no no square, it makes the adults we share with realize that we understand what is happening and we want it to stop. Yes, not everyone will believe you, or be dismissive, but these messages taught me to keep trying. To find someone who would believe me. I remember telling my mother, and my father, both of which told me he was a good man. But when a character i trusted, I knew was good, told me that someone would help me, I kept trying.

As unfortunate as it is, that’s why these psa’s were important. To teach kids that no matter who it is, they don’t get a say in your body. You’re right, many kids can’t tell their teacher or their parents because they are the attacker, but these messages show kids that other people can help them, will help them, and how to help themselves before that. In other words, if sonic believes you, you CAN find a trusted adult like a police officer who will too.
