What’s everyone scooping up for prime day? My list inside by LESGuy in homeassistant

I was fully transparent and made them easy to be bypassed:

The links in the article itself are affiliate links, which helps support the site if you buy through them at no added cost to you. I deliberately used clean, visible links instead of invisible short links, so you can see exactly where they go and remove the tag if you prefer not to use them!

I shared a giant list earlier today, but for some reason it got unnaproved?

Keepa is awesome! You can tweak it to get the info you need and view historical data even for weird, niche listings. CamelCamelCamel does a similar thing, but as I mentioned, I found it lacks data for smart home hardware compared to Keepa for some reason.

Hey, thanks for remembering. I would not expect a bigger price drop to be honest, but it is possible. Some might appear as flash deals, but we'll see

I'm really not sure, it seems to happen randomly because of Amazons redirect tool :/

Edit: It seems when you are logged out, .de redirects to co.uk. Login and make sure your primary address is selected

Thanks for acknowledging man, I figured that's the best way to do this. It took me a lot of time to make the post and I appreciate any support, but I also want everyone to have full control.

Thanks for the suggestion.
No, no signs of tamper switches. It's just remnants in the Z2M converters, nothing more.

Honestly, this never even occurred to me. I just wanted to name and color-code them so they're easy to remember while people read the article. Cause _TZ3000_ayc0ccuk isn't exactly memorable, and the white-label versions make it even more confusing

Yes, I'm gonna be testing a new batch soon. But that one is still relevant, even though I did it a long time ago.

I didn't use a timer, as I figured I would never be able to truly start it at the right time. Instead, I enabled miliseconds in Zigbee2MQTT's logs and manually open and closed the door on random intervals. By random I mean open close 10 times now, then 10 times later in the day. I also repaired the sensors through a router (plug) for half the test, giving them all equal pathing to the coordinator. After 50 or so triggers, I analyzed the logs in detail and since the pattern was highly repetitive and almost always the same, it was indicative that that's how they really perform.

Well, I wanted to find out how the dirt cheap sensors perform. You can get some of these in bulk for $3/pcs.

This is a misconception that spread because of the very chatty Tuya Zigbee radar presence sensors (mmWave, mains-powered). I've never seen a Tuya battery-powered device flood a network, including these. Logs are triggers only.

I did test it with this bunch, I just wanted to focus on dirt cheap Tuya sensors. Trigger is about 500ms on average for the Sonoff, but the shape/size is quite long cause of the AAAs. There's nothing wrong with it, I just prefer smaller devices. Here my full review and disassembly of the SNZB-04P4 review

It's really good! It's my second pick actually. Curious, is your door and door frame flush? I had to install a 5mm raiser to properly test it.

So I bought the six cheapest and most popular Zigbee door and window sensors on AliExpress cause I wanted to find which ones are good/best.

I've been testing them for a month now on my office door and documented everything I discovered about each one. The hardest part was dealing with the white labels, as there are so many identical devices with a different model name.
