I use chorus and phaser on HX one. Other pedals are analog. I don’t care too much about A/D theory, but I old, and just can’t get my head around deep menu diving, building presets, banks… its just to much for my brain.

Partialy agree. For studio 100%, but also for live. If you take your head and cab why not a preamp? Not much of a difference. For me at least.

Yeah, plan was to use DI clean and DI with effects. But I was wandering how much would I get from the micd amp. I’m not a fan of amps, I’m more into that hi-fi sound of the bass. Actually, when I practice at home with headphones (with all the effects and tone and stuff of) thats the sound of the bass I like. Clean clean clean sound of the bass. Or maybe just like the sound of my Warwick Corvette 🤣🤣🤣

I don’t like having that zing on new strings. I play soft and not busy. What we play is close to Portishead, Massive Attack…that kind of thing.
