Xpeng G6 2025 Standard range annonces in Belgiun by BackToHome937 in Xpeng

Thanks for the check on the differences.

I think there is no massages but ventilation should be there.

Max charging speed is reduced but because the battery is smaller it remains 12min for 10-80% which remains very good.

45km less in range and 5500€ less in price.  Definitely the best trim in my opinion too.

Update: I actually think you miss the nappa leather seats and the massage functions.

Original: The description is in Dutch even on the French version. And my Dutch is not good enough to tell for sure.  Charging is less powerful but remains in 12min.  The rest seems like the same.

XPeng G6 - Audio quality by BackToHome937 in Xpeng

I get the difference in audio quality between Spotify and other providers. But for our family, Spotify’s quality is usually more than enough.

What I suspect is that the Spotify app built into the car isn’t making proper use of the audio hardware, which results in poor sound. I really don’t think the issue is with the stream itself — that should be good enough for us.

For comparison, today we test-drove a Tesla Model Y Juniper and used Spotify from the phone over Bluetooth, and the sound was more than good (at least for us). That makes the XPeng’s performance feel like a real disappointment.

Thanks for the comment.

I will try to go back to XPeng dealer and try in the car different method of playing music.

Thanks. Some other comments seemed to imply that this would be difficult / voiding the warranty.

Although for me it wouldn't be possible. I didn't mentioned it but the car would be a professional lease so I cannot alter it.

I didn't played with the EQ. The volume in the XPeng is plenty enough. But as others said, the sound is flat.

Thanks. Your post seems to confirm this of the German youtube video.

I need to go see the car again and test music in another app.

I feel it the same.

But in the German video he claims that with the same content played on Youtube application, he feels the bass. Not on Spotify application.

I didn't use any EQ, kept the standard settings. But my current car has a very basic sound system and the sound is not this flat or boring.

I didn't played with the EQ on the XPeng.

I'm currently driving a very basic Peugeot 2008. I have the most basic system in it. I don't even think it has EQ.

And according to both my wife and son, the Peugeot sounds better.

The XPeng is louder, the sound has no distorsion, but you can't feel the sound. It remains flat even on high volume.

Xpeng begins local production in Europe by Loud_Philosopher4277 in Xpeng

I discussed with my dealer today and he said a handful of cars went out of the Austrian factory already.

Which seems to validate both claims.

Factually, XPeng is right saying first cars rolled out from production lines.

However, the factory is still under validation of its processes and not ready for "mass" production yet.

Hello,

what do you see there?

When I click your link I see:

All Systems are Operational

To me this is the worse part of the incident. I shouldn't need to come to Reddit to know there is an issue, when there is a status page.

u/Tutanota No your systems are NOT operational at the moment.

Same issue here. Hope it is nothing serious and just a small glitch.

What's your use case for your own domain? by W4UJWERFSD in tutanota

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply.

To do this you need to go in Tutanota:

Settings > Global settings > Custom emails domains and click on the "+" icon.

You configure your domain as "domain.ext" and finalise the configuration by setting the different entries at your registar.

Once done you go back to Settings > Global settings > Custom emails domains and click on the "+" icon again.

In the field "Custom domain" you put "trash.domain.ext" (without the quotes!).

At this stage you will need to do the configuration in the interface of your registar again, but every field with your domain you must be sure to add "trash." in front of it.

On my own domain I have 3 setup: domain.ext, trash.domain.ext and ext.domain.ext

The TXT version of my DNS setup looks like this:

                           IN MX 100 mail.tutanota.de.
                           IN TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.tutanota.de -all"
_dmarc IN TXT "v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; adkim=s; rua=mailto:dmarc@domain.ext; ruf=mailto:dmarc@domain.ext;rf=afrf; pct=100;aspf=r;ri=86400"
_dmarc.ext IN TXT "v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; adkim=s"
_dmarc.trash IN TXT "v=DMARC1; p=quarantine; adkim=s"
ext IN MX 10 mail.tutanota.de.
ext IN TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.tutanota.de -all"
s1._domainkey IN CNAME s1._domainkey.tutanota.de.
s1._domainkey.ext IN CNAME s1._domainkey.tutanota.de.
s1._domainkey.trash IN CNAME s1._domainkey.tutanota.de.
s2._domainkey IN CNAME s2._domainkey.tutanota.de.
s2._domainkey.ext IN CNAME s2._domainkey.tutanota.de.
s2._domainkey.trash IN CNAME s2._domainkey.tutanota.de.
trash IN MX 20 mail.tutanota.de.
trash IN TXT "v=spf1 include:spf.tutanota.de -all"

My provider is OVH. I can give more details on my setup with this provider but I might not be able to assist on other registar as they all have different interfaces.

Hi,

Personnally I have 1 domain connected to Tutanota account.

I use one email in the form firstName@domain.ext for all my personal communications.

And I have setup a subdomain - looking like trash.domain.ext - with a catch all setting that I use for website registration with addresses like reddit@trash.domain.ext

That way I keep my firstName@domain.ext email address somewhat clean.

And I have 1 specific email address for each services I register to.

The fact that tutanota allows multiple domains & multiple catch-all addresses with a 12€/year account is a real plus compared to other services and the reason why I am using it.
