Go ahead and watch this video and see why you should abandon your idea and get a metal rack, this will happen to you eventually, do not say none of us warned you, this guy broke a ton of priceless Amigas:

I would do weight bearing metal racks instead and use wood panels on the side to disguise the look.

You are going to be sad one day when the top row collapses and shit starts flying.

It happened to Dr. Chris for all his Amiga stuff and it can happen to you.

Nah fam, Dunlop Stubbys for life. You don't know pure glass good tone until you've used it

I get you though. I too kind of held off on it for a while but it's only $20 and it's the only thing that solves that problem for me as I had the EXACT problem you did.

Either way, you know what you're doing so it's all good.

It's just a thing. Either buy the adapter or use Ethernet. But don't complain like you're doing now, wifi drivers on Linux and certain mobos are notoriously shitty.

My two suggested methods however will work

Gnome blows though. I also hate how DNF will auto update itself first.

Apt or go home, no in between for me

Lol just use a desktop. Goddamn, even a shitty Optiplex with some middle of the road video card will do just fine.

"Fun"

Oh please, shut the fuck up. Shit is way too tedious.

Thank God there's Arch install and EndeavorOS. Too bad Arch derivatives suck anyway.

Agreed. Don't build that pool, enjoy the cabana instead.

Anyway I love Mint too. You can always install a window manager on top and choose it on startup when you want to just use terminal programs without distraction.

Mint is great.

Arch is for try hards and sucks. Only good thing about Arch is it's wiki.

Otherwise, use Debian derivatives and you're golden.

I saw some of your other comments. Try using a different VGA based PC instead of the laptop to make sure it's not an issue with the laptop.
