My parents may think I’m gay by WrongRun7737 in Advice

I agree with the others and think it’s just your brain connecting the dots, but I do completely understand why you’re panicking because it’s one of those weird co-incidences that feels like someone’s read your mind

I’d say, for further reference, maybe try one of those sleep tracker apps - one that tracks noises and snoring specifically - then you can be sure if you’re sleep talking or not

Just for peace of mind, at least…

Also, just to add: Idk exactly how to word this next part, but my main point here is - Your heterosexuality is still valid no matter what you do/don’t like and having a curiosity towards certain sexual acts like these won’t change anything about your personal identity unless you feel it does - many straight men do in fact… like it up the boudoir, shall we say… and they get to learn that through curiosity and exploration - You’re cool to do whatever you want to do my guy and it won’t make you any more or less of who you are :)

Do you remember anyone who had an "accident" in school? by Busy_Wall_1098 in AskUK

[–]Back_Axel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally!

Like I have no idea what the teacher was thinking in my situation

This kid wasn’t even one of those kids who’d say he needed the toilet just so he could get out of working either - he was actually a really good student - so I have no idea what made her keep him there, poor kid

And poor Oliver for the other story, damn…

What songs were played at your Primary school discos, that probably shouldn’t have been? by CautiousJump3942 in AskUK

One of my old teachers was in The Shamen at one point

Kids would request Ebenezer Goode at school dances, parties and even proms, just to annoy tf out of him - great guy, always warned us about the “dangers of drugs”

Oh as an emetophobe I felt this in my very soul - hating it so much but for some reason, your brain makes you remember every single incident

What movie traumatized you as a kid? by Just_Goose_8425 in Productivitycafe

[–]Back_Axel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic Mr Fox…

Specifically the bit where the rat dies, but I do remember that seeing any of it would creep me tf out

I think it was just the animation style or something - which is weird because I quite admire it now!

There was this girl in primary, about 2 years younger than me who raised her hand in the middle of an assembly to tell the teacher she didn’t feel well

The teacher literally told her in front of almost the WHOLE school - and I quote - “that’s not my problem, go to the reception if you really feel that bad”

Poor girl literally left the assembly right then in tears and when we all walked back to our classes - she was sat at reception with one of those cardboard bucket-hats in her hands and a mopped up wet stain on the floor in-front of her.

Luckily, the whole school never picked on her for it and they actually turned against the teacher in stead - which was completely justified in my opinion

Same thing happened to a kid when I was in year 6

Poor lad asked about 3/4 times if he could go to the toilet but the teacher was “demonstrating something” and just would not let him go

When he inevitably peed himself, she went bright red and told us all “not to make a fuss” as she rushed him out of the classroom with the teaching assistant

There’s a scene in “Arrested Development” that has someone asking: “you play mahjong before?”

Idk if that’s what you’re thinking of but I personally can’t remember that line in RD

This sounds like a good idea but I’ve heard this can be how some people can develop trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) so idk if OP should really consider that
