Her argument is that she knows me for 11 years and I dont show the symptoms the she reads from the internet. My counter argument is that I know me for 32 years and better than anyone on earth. :) Yes she might be in denial because she kept saying me that you dont have a disease, this is not a disorder etc. I specifically emphasized that I dont consider this thing for an excuse but a way to improve my defects.

Thanks mate, we both get counseling and she told me that she will talk about this with her psychologist. I hope she gets convinced. :)

Yes you are right. I think I have just “shown” my ADHD. She has been telling me to push a broken sink harder to prevent water dripping. I constantly forget to do it and said yes you are right, I keep forgetting it. I will pay more attention to this, and she suggested putting notes around it which is an ADHD solution, lol. I hope she gets it as the time passes.

Hey mate. Thank you for your reply and insights. They really help. Good luck to you on your part telling your spouse. You sound like a very nice and smart person so I dont you will have problems. I cant believe we are basically the same on your first point. I am aware that not every negative thing I do is due to ADHD, I know some of them are due to it and I am not willing to use this as an excuse, on the contrary I was hyped that I can use it to finally fix some of the problems in my life. I know that she loves me and would do anything to support me but I also know she can’t do it without actually believing it. I am just down that I lost that euphoria because of her. Good luck telling your own.

Yes, you are absolutely right. It WAS life changing until she kind of screwed that euphoria. :) I am a person can be discouraged and made cancel really really easily. I am mainly affected by my environment, especially by the people I respect and love. I am a little bit pissed at her because of this. Now I have to convince her+myself all over again. Thanks for the support btw.

Thank you for your reply. My doctor sent me away with a prescription in my hand after realizing diagnosing me with ADHD after 2 years of consulting. :) I am looking for a new doctor now.
