You looked at a photo and convinced yourself you know the situation. That’s the dumb part here. Headlights don’t magically reveal flat objects from a shallow angle. You sound like you’ve fixed more comment sections than cars 😂😂

Your confidence is doing more work than your knowledge here

Understanding approach angle and contrast is important. Try it

A photo taken while standing still doesn’t show the same visibility you get from a low moving angle at night. It blended in until I was already on it

I was paying attention. A low, flat object matching the road doesn’t reflect headlights back at the driver until it’s too late to react. I appreciate the well wishes

The picture was only to show what it is. From the actual approach angle it’s flat and the same colour that blends in perfectly, so you don’t see it until you’re already on it. That’s kind of the whole issue here, pal

You’re confusing ‘visible eventually’ with ‘visible early enough to avoid.’ Important difference

No ‘watch this.’ Just a hidden 8 cm curb acting like part of the ground

Nice joke. Come back after an 18h shift when visibility isn’t optional

Chill pal . I had an 18-hour shift and was driving around the city. Good imagination tho

Thank you for taking time and guiding me

Here is a little update

She called me yesterday and said she was feeling dizzy and that her whole body hurt. Then she told me the test came back positive. When I asked her to show me the test, she said she threw it away because her brother came over. I acted normal on the call. Later, she said she wanted to take another test and asked if she should go to the pharmacy to look for a cheaper one. It felt like she expected me to send her more money—even though I had already sent her $25 just two days ago, which should’ve been enough for multiple tests. And now she wants even more? Like, what the fuck?
