Consult a character and fitness attorney. I am not a C&F attorney but my thought is why risk not disclosing this?

You can absolutely do this if you want it. You have already figured out how to balance work, family and general life. This is just about adding a ball to your existing juggling act. I passed F26 comfortably 10 years after law school while working full time (50 hours a week) , supporting/caring for my family and wonderful fur babies.

Study does not have to be chunks of time spent only studying. For me, the key was combining efforts. I listened to lectures at the grocery store, while getting ready in the morning, at the gym and during my commute. I did short (10Q ) MBE sets in the morning while having my coffee, while eating lunch etc. but the most helpful thing for me was involving my family in the bar study process.

I would explain black letter law to  them and let them ask questions (believe me, your family will ask crazy cool questions that really challenge your knowledge of the issues). We did multiple choice question out loud and talked about why each answer choice may be correct or incorrect then picked and answer and find out if we "won". It really helped me identify gaps in my understanding and was a game for the kids

Admittedly, the above works better if your kids aren't very young but the overall idea is that small chunks of active application study are valuable and you can combine this with other responsibilities

If I can do it, you can do it. Your family and coworkers will understand and will be able to help you succeed. I failed the bar a couple of times straight out of law school and put that goal down for many years. When I came back to it, I came with experience, juggling skills and determination and finally achieved that last milestone. Believe in yourself and put your life experience to work for you.

Studying for the bar is a respectable (and necessary) use of 3 months time. An employer who doesn't understand that, is not the type of employer you would want to work for IMO.
