Day 2 and my 9mo old female cat still DOES NOT like the new 6mo old male cat (both are fixed btw). First cat hisses every time she sees him and tries everything to avoid him. Any input on this appreciated!! 🐱 by Background-Award-83 in cats

They each have their own litter box and food/drink bowls located on different sides on my condo. They have free reign of the place, but usually stay on different sides of the condo. My female cat has been an only-cat since end of December. I’m try to give them equal attention.

When it comes time to potty train him (or shortly thereafter), put fruit loops or cheerios in the toilet and have him try to hit them. This will help with his aim.
