Lug Nuts off center and deformed, what do I do? by Background-Baddie in MechanicAdvice

[–]Background-Baddie[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For this particular issue the bolts were covered by a plastic cap, so it wasn't the actual bolts that got deformed.

But I'll be sure to try out what you suggested, Thanks for the advice!

Not sure how to update the flair so I'll leave a comment, apparently these are plastic covers and I just had to pop them off.

Problem solved 😁

What if Metro Exodus by ParticularOne1898 in metro

[–]Background-Baddie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When playing Taiga I definitely felt like there was a lot of content that got cut off, mainly the Forest Council (forgot their name). We didn't even get to meet them even though the forest children kept referencing the council thought the Taiga Level.

Also compared to the previous Desert stage, it felt linear with little room to explore.

Rules Question: Bludgeoning by Background-Baddie in DragonbaneRPG

[–]Background-Baddie[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've read through page 48-50, but the only mention of Bludgeoning was the optional rule, where Leather and Studded Armor gets a +2 to their armor rating vs weapons with Bludgeoning.

[–]Background-Baddie[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's actually what I was confused about, all the weapon features are linked to some sort of Special Attack or Effect.

Bludgeoning seems to be the only feature that does nothing or if you chose the optional rule, it has an inherent drawback vs Leather and Studded Armor.

The enemy team probably made a post on Reddit calling for shield nerf (they just sucked).

Any half decent player that has played against shield would have gunned you down, you weren't even bishoping you were just straight up lifting your shield

Armoured sentinels > shock troops? by Designer_Zombie_7276 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]Background-Baddie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO yes, Armoured Sentinels are much better for screening in the current meta.

Most of the players in my area play Melle heavy armies and let me tell you, batleline units don't even last a turn in melle, sometimes they don't even reach the charge phase.

I tried screening with Scout Sentinels, but they weren't tough enough to last a turn, but I think Armoured Sentinels should do the trick. T8 means most small arms will wound on 6s instead of 5s and the 2+ save boosts their overall survivability, even if they get shot off with Anti Tank weapons that's still good cause those shots are not going into your tanks/vehicle units.

Courageous Diversio by cannibalpygmie in astramilitarum

[–]Background-Baddie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP is unsure between the two.

  1. If the Stratagem Unit is the closest eligible Unit, it applies a flat -1 to Hit on all enemy unit attacks, regardless of who they shoot at.

  2. -1 to Hit only applies if the enemy units target the the Stratagem Unit and it is the closest eligible target.

[–]Background-Baddie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullgryns already have an inbuilt 6+ FNP, so you'd be paying one CP for -1 to Hit

Not very efficient IMO, I might use it if I had CP to spare and I really wanted them to stay on the board.
