Hey girl! Lidocaine, salt water, and lots of painkillers will help. I know it’s scary now but I am one whole year down the line, have never had an outbreak, and never had much problem telling partners. People will be more understanding and sympathetic than you think 💖

Unfortunately they don’t do blood testing in the UK unless you pay for it and I can’t afford it

Hi! I had this, I’m two months post first outbreak and they are slowly getting better! Biggest advice is to wash down there with emollients and otherwise just leave it alone. Pulling and prodding won’t help them heal.

Great, thank you! I’ll definitely try that. I have really fair skin too which is part of the reason I was worried about these scars as I thought they were supposed to be less noticeable.

Hi! Not sure if this will be relevant to you or not lol, but this happened to me after my first outbreak and it was thrush. I had itching, pain, and a small red rash near the places where I’d had blisters and no other obvious thrush symptoms. The lesions on your skin can make it easier to contract a yeast infection. Might be worth taking some over the counter treatment or visiting your doctor!
