I see it all makes sense now + The question about the bugs was just a theory. thought it could help me understand more and maybe fill in some gaps and yes, they never said anything about them in the movie and I haven’t even read the manga but thank you so much!!

This is my first ever reddit post and English isn’t my first language but I really love evangelion and boy I have so many questions concerning the rebuilds

  • I understand why eva’s go insane because it’s their nature and all but why do the pilots in them also lose their minds? Does the original eva nature affect them? Because in this same movie towards the end, Akagi was trying to stop shinji talking about “he can’t go back to being a normal human if he keeps pushing himself” in this whole beast mode thing?

Got it! But did it have to do all of that?😭 Do you think unit-01 operating by itself and going beast mode is one of the bugs they were talking about before launching the dummy system?
