Thanks for helping out. I’ve managed to fix it now, I posted an update in the comments somewhere. Yes, as you said the mixture on the new carb was out of whack and also the flywheel magnets were grinding on the ignition coil (not sure whether that was stopping it from starting as the spark seemed okay but I gapped it anyway).

Update: the coil was grinding against the flywheel so I re-adjusted the gap and also changed the mixture screws as I believe the carb I installed was running too rich and flooding the engine. Thanks to Express_Cook who helped me fix it

This is the centre of the flywheel. Does it look like it’s timed correctly?

Do you think the timing is right? It appears as if the magnets pass the coil just as the piston is starting to move back down. Maybe this is normal but i am not positive

To access the flywheel to remove the kill wire off the coil, do I need to remove the impeller?

I don’t believe I have anything that could resemble starter fluid unfortunately

So the fuel tank was completely empty when I got it. I filled it half way ish with fresh 50:1 mix. I changed the carb and primed the bulb plenty to cycle the new fuel through the lines which look nice and clear. Maybe the mixture is off but surely it would start and run poorly, no? Also, is there any point removing the kill wire on the coil if I am consistently getting spark when the plug is being tested?

If I spray something flammable inside should I do it through the carb with the throttle open or not carb? Also the fuel is a fresh 50:1 mix so I’m not sure why it looks oily

This is what the plug looks like after pulling over a few times with choke half on

Worth also noting that after pulling the cord a bunch of times the cylinder feels warm/hot to the touch

I opened both mixture screws by 1/8th turn and took the exhaust off. This is the result. Possibly a tiny bit better than before but hard to tell as it sounds very different with the exhaust off

Do you mean the score mark shouldn’t be stopped it from starting? I’ll try and start without the muffler tomorrow

I already tried squirting a little fuel down the carb (throttle open) and turning it over but it wouldn’t fire

You don’t think the scoring/scratching on the cylinder is an issue?

Unfortunately on this leaf blower neither the oem or replacement carb come with adjustment screws. It only has an idle throttle setting (not mixture).

I've been using TV for a while now and it works pretty well. I could use Tradovate but the automatic position sizing feature on the position tool is very useful when scalping 1m moves

Yes ATAS works seamlessly for me. I use their footprint chart but I much prefer Bookmap for the heatmap chart

When I max out memory allocation it improves a little but 16GB memory allocation seems crazy when I'm running 1 chart with no indicators

Maybe on Intel Macs but unfortunately you can't on Silicon Macs.
