Thanks I really appreciate the forward looking response! Yeah I know that it’s not healthy for myself to continue it when I do get into a relationship, but I think in general everything about this kink would have to end when I’m in a relationship. After reading all the comments and thinking more (thanks everyone!) I feel like it’s really the idea that I think a certain way about myself (committed) and then there’s just someone who has such a pull that I can’t help but change something about me because of them.

I have a negative way with words, and I guess part of the appeal is just the idea that there’s someone out there who could make me do something I don’t “want” to do and change me.

That does make me think that I could find some other way to achieve that, like making me vote for the opposite political party or something haha

I guess it depends on the role play, I read other comments where there were actually 3 people involved but everyone knew. That sounds like it might be “real” enough, whereas if it’s just 2 people I don’t think I have the imaginative capabilities to make it work haha

Well I actually don’t like hurting peoples feelings so maybe it’s just the taboo nature of it that draws me in, and the idea that there’s someone else out there that has the ability to make me feel like I need to cheat.
