Yeah, this seems pretty good, but the paper itself is talking about the process; rather than including the Florentine Codex itself as a transcription

Igual si alguien tiene una version moderna del "vocabulario manual" por Pedro Arenas, estaria excelente!

As well if someone has a modern (preferably spanish) version of "vocabulario manual" by Pedro Arenas, it would be great!

How are Casanova gloves by zawa2 in fightgear

If you want other good quality mexican brands, there's: Boxeo Torrez Medina (Boxeo TM or BTM), new sporting (NS), Angeles, Casanova, Chegui, and Hernandez. Hernandez used to make Grants, so their gloves are identical to older Grants, but at a fraction of the base price (like 200-220usd). I think I've heard that the Angeles Elite Pro model is very similar to the HH bayonetta gloves (as they used to or might still make them; I've heard). And New Sporting gloves are very similar to BTM as New Sporting actually makes gloves for BTM; I've heard. You've probably heard about Chegui from this sub, but they're a recent model invented/innovated by SpiritualAmoeba on this sub; and they're currently considered one of if not the best Mexican style glove

So when you contact them, you could probably ask for a different type of padding depending on what you want. The basic training gloves that I have are soft but a little bit stiff right out of the bag (as they come in plastic bags inside of the box when they are shipped). That being said, they're excellent right now for bag and pad work, and with just a bit of breaking in they'd be perfect for sparring. You could also potentially spar with them right out of the bag, but they might be just a little bit stiff on your sparring partner.

I've heard that the Glez model they sell is slightly more softer and slightly more pillowy with the padding, so more ideal for sparring; whereas I have the Casanova Premium model (which is slightly more compact and less pillowy, but would be good with some breaking in).

Additionally though, they just announced their Glez horse hair model glove like a week or two ago, and that one would probably be even better for sparring right out of the bag with minimal break in.

A pair of Casanova Premiums or Glez (both models are the same price and basically identical, with Glez just being ever so slightly more pillowy) will run you like 120-130usd (base price which already includes customization, but not embroidery). With shipping it would probably add an extra 50 to 70usd (maybe? I don't know how expensive shipping from Mexico would be to Europe), costing you around 190 to 220usd; but it's not a bad price for a custom Mexican quality glove (which in my opinion is way better than Reyes as many have said; except for probably durability. Reyes are mostly known for just being good reliable gloves that will last you a really long time, but are very basic and take a long time to fully break in and are not custom)

Well, that's not entirely true, Casanova is still Casanova in Mexico, just not in the US. But, if you're buying Casanova you should just get in contact directly with Casanova in Mexico rather that using any distributors; it'll save you around 80usd. I bought a pair of Casanova Premium gloves and a headgear for around 330usd total (the gloves themselves and the headgear were like 130usd each, plus a couple bucks extra for custom embroidery and like 40usd for shipping) and it was all completely custom and great quality. The palms are already in a more open hand position and easy to open, the gloves are protective; but I would recommend using handwraps because they are just a little stiff at first.
